Miniatur Kondensator mit Polyäthylenterephthalat Folie (Polyester) als Dielektrikum. Die Beläge beim Typ FKS 2 sind aus einer Metallfolie (nicht selbstheilend) gefertigt. Die Umhüllung besteht aus einem flammhemmenden Kunststoffgehäuse aus Epoxidharz. Diese Kondensatoren eignen sich besonders als Stütz- und Entkopplungs-Anwendungen in schnellen Digitalschaltungen.
