Infrared Alarm and People Detector (DIY Kit)
The circuit works with a passive detector based on polymer film. The alarm is triggered via the pyroelectric detector. The detector converts the infrared radiation emitted by moving bodies into electrical signals. The prerequisite for the function is that the bodies to be detected are approx. 5°C warmer or colder than the surroundings. Ideal as an alarm, signaling system and property protection. If the device is only activated in the dark, this can be achieved using the LDR included in the kit. The kit is prepared for connection to 220VAC. The kit comes complete with PIR module, housing and instructions.
