The new PeakTech 2040 was developed for professional use and offers a wide range of measurement functions for various electrical parameters, suitable for users in industry, trades, education, and laboratories. A particular highlight is the integrated data interface, which enables long-term data recording in conjunction with the PC software. It is manufactured according to the latest design standards and features a double-insulated, injection-molded housing with an anthracite-colored rubberized grip, a service access panel on the back, allowing easy replacement of both the battery and the fuses. The device has an inverted LCD display with 20,000 digits and a bargraph. Automatic ranging ensures user-friendly operation, and the continuously illuminated display provides excellent readability of the measured values. It supports measurements for DCV, ACV, DCA, ACA, Ohms, capacitance, Hz, °C, °F, diode testing, and continuity testing. With its high overvoltage category of CAT III up to 1000V, this device can be used safely on electrical installations and systems.
