Information:
Radio interference suppression capacitors with a multi-layer impregnated paper/polyester film as the dielectric and aluminum foil as the coatings. Enclosed in a plastic cup with a cast resin seal.
Radio interference suppression capacitors are used to reduce interference to radio reception caused by electrical equipment, such as commutator motors, electrical switching contacts, etc. These capacitors are classified as X-capacitors and Y-capacitors. Class X capacitors are capacitors of unlimited capacitance for applications where their failure due to a short circuit cannot result in an electric shock. Class Y capacitors are capacitors
for an insulation voltage of Ueff 250V with increased electrical and mechanical safety.
