Infrared Alarm and People Detector (DIY Kit)

The circuit uses a polymer film based passive detector. The alarm is triggered via the pyroelectric detector. The detector converts the infrared radiation emanating from moving bodies into electrical signals. The alarm only works if the bodies detected are about 5°C warmer or cooler than the environment. Ideal as an alarm, alarm system and property protection. The LDR included in the kit allows the appliance to work only in the dark, if this is requested. The kit is prepared for connection to 220VAC. The kit comes complete with PIR module, housing and instructions.
