These 50 watt stand-alone solar modules have a greater surface but a slightly lower performance than the Sunpower modules but they have a very good price/performance ratio. They are suitable for professional applications like traffic monitoring, telecommunications and so on.
To protect against the harshest weather conditions, the cells are embedded between a reinforced glass covering (hailstorm resistance IEC61215 tested according by TÜV) and EVA foil, and are sealed with a PET film. The laminate is set in a stable, easily mountable aluminum frame.
